The Unitarian Church of Vancouver is a lively place offering a wide variety of events and activities sponsored by the church and by other organizations.

Ongoing Activities
Unitarian Music Club
One Monday a month, 7:30 pm, sanctuary, except where noted.

The Music Club welcomes all styles of acoustic music, and performances are arranged in advance. If you would like to perform, come and we will set a date. Everyone is welcome. If you’re new to the church or looking for something different, try us out. We’re a mix of listeners and performers who get together for enjoyable evenings. When you come, please bring a contribution to refreshments.

For more information about the club, contact Jeannie Corsi by email, or David Donaldson by email.

Saturday Night Social: Unitarian Social Group

Second Saturdays, 6 pm, Hewett Centre

Come out to eat and socialize at a potluck with fellow Unitarians. Everyone is welcome – families, singles, couples, all ages. The evening may have a theme; check the weekly order of service.

Please bring some food to share. Bring your board games if you like. Contact Eva Perjes, 604.873.0770, for more information.

Wider Community Activities
Philosophers' Fireside Cafe
Third Friday of the month, 7– 9 pm
Fireside Room, Hewett Centre
Admission $5, no pre-registration

Everyone is welcome. The evenings are as warm as our fireside, as welcoming as our carpet, as comfortable as our new chairs and as interesting as the diverse, intelligent people we attract. There is a supportive, friendly atmosphere to encourage you to participate actively and share your unique and interesting thoughts and perspectives. One thing is sure – it is a great place to learn and help others to learn.

Sacred Circle Dance
September to June, second Mondays of the month, 7 – 9 pm, Hewett Centre, by donation

Sometimes there are other events, including teachers from the US, UK or other parts of Canada.  More information is available by email.

Come and learn a variety of sacred circle dances. These are easy to learn and are more about spiritual practice and community building than about “right steps.” In fact, our mantra is: There are no wrong steps, only variations. Usually a group of 10 to 15, we meet in Hewett Centre and dance to recorded music.

Coordinators: Leslie Kemp, Mary Bennett, Karen Bartlett and Carolyn Grant
