Partner Church Sunday: A Life-Changing Experience
Sunday, March 7, 11 am
Rev. Phillip Hewett
Margaret Laurence (a one-time member of our congregation) once wrote: "My experience of other countries probably taught me more about myself and even my own land than it did about anything else." Those of us who have visited our fellow Unitarians in Transylvania could endorse this. I certainly could, and will share my reflections on that process. There will be a retiring collection to help support our partnership.

Revised Thrift Sale We are shifting into our new format of Sunday summer sales only this year, from July until our Water Sunday Service in September. We are reducing our departments to Classy Clothes, Treasure Trove & Collectables, Electricals, and Books. From past sales these departments have been our biggest money earners and we hope this trend continues. A committee is in place so stay tuned for further information regarding volunteers and types of donations needed. For further information contact: Denise Nereida, 604.731.7660 or email; or Julie Cowie, 604.267.1627 or email. more
Donate to Our Children's Table Program Our Children's Table is continuing to accept donations of 400-600 grams of unprocessed white cheese until June 6. Put your donations in the labeled basket in the sanctuary foyer on Sundays. We've had just enough to send each family home with cheese twice a month. We also welcome gifts of lightly used infant and children's clothes, books, safe sensible games and equipment for our Tuesday exchange. There will be a large wooden box in Hewett Centre to deposit these items in on Sunday. volunteer
